Maple Leaf Homework Club
Members from St. Paul’s partner with other church groups to run the Maple Leaf Kids Homework Club. The Maple Leaf Kids Homework Club continues to serve children living in a low income community. They often lack the help needed to succeed in school. The Homework Club offers an opportunity for these children to have a safe place to get the homework help they need. Children are provided a meal and giving opportunities to learn new skills along with make connections with great mentors. Thanks to donations by St Paul’s congregation, a few of the Maple Leaf students were able to attend our VBS program this year.
Homework Club takes place on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30-5pm at the Maple Leaf Clubhouse (by the pool at 255 Sawmill Rd). Volunteers can choose to help for one or more Tuesdays each month. If you are willing to serve the children of our nearby community or want to learn more about it, please contact the church office at 732-458-2080.
