Rev Evan Dodge

Dear St. Paul’s:

Saturday is a busy day! We have our annual pet blessing from 10-2 as we celebrate God’s goodness to us in our pets! Be sure to come out for that. Thanks ahead of time to all who make this annual event so meaningful for so many.

We also have our annual church conference around 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary. This meeting receives reports, elects new leadership, and celebrates God’s work here at St. Paul’s church. If you would like a copy of the paperwork and if you would like a zoom link, please email Melissa Jensen (melissa.familyministries@stpaulsbrick.org) before Saturday at 11 a.m. If you join in person, paper copies will be available.

God bless,
Pastor Evan

Dear St Pauls:

This Sunday is real communion Sunday. Our pastoral intern, David Gellar, will be preaching, and we will celebrate communion.

This is an opportunity to live out our Christian unity with the diverse expressions of the church around the world. World communion.
Sunday is a reminder that despite so many differences and the polarization in our current moment, Jesus Christ and his invitation unites us all.

A Message from the Director of Family Ministries – September 5, 2024

We had a wonderful end of summer celebration!

The Kids showed me I can still be a kid at heart, but I definitely felt my age at our overnight Youth Group Lock-in.
For those who do not know a youth lock-in is where the youth stay at the church overnight, AND STAY UP ALL NIGHT LONG!

The kids had a blast and the adults did their best to keep up!

All in all a great end to summer.
We are excited to kick off our fall program where we will have each of the kids complete a spiritual gifts inventory. We will be exploring Spiritual gifts and having lessons on how to best utilize our individual gifts.

Fall- HERE WE COME!

A Message from Pastor Evan – September 5, 2024

Rev Evan Dodge

Dear St Paul’s:

This Sunday we begin a 4 week sermon series on the book of James. This is one of my favorite books in the Bible, and a timely one, too. Sadly, it has been my experience that the church mirrors the culture more and more, in both words and actions. The Book of James was written to a church community trying to figure out how to follow Jesus amidst persecution and cultural opposition.
James reminds them to not show favoritism toward anyone, especially the rich; to be mindful of speech and the power of words; and to live lives of trust and prayer. My prayer is that as we examine the Scriptures together, the Lord transforms us to be more and more the people of Christ as reflected in this powerful book.

Join us at 9 or 11 am!
Pastor Evan
