This past week I have watched in awe as our VBS volunteers have made our Camp Firelight program come to life!

Both adults and youth volunteers have worked so hard and enriched our program. During our reflection time all the children have spoken on how much they are enjoying this week together.

Bible Time, Music, Science, Crafts, Snack, Missions and Recreation. All areas are bringing the children closer together and in relationship with God.

A HUGE shout out to all our volunteers. You make me feel very proud to be a part of this St. Paul’s family.
Thank you ALL for your hard work.

Join us THIS SUNDAY SERVICE to see Reflections from our VBS week.

Service 10am.

We had a special Mid-Week Worship. Our missionaries form Albania Nicole and Plator shared with us a documentary explained the atmosphere for missionaries during communism.

Plator gave a wonderful message on forgiveness and explained all the great work they are accomplishing for the children of their village with their orphanage and day care center for the children.

We hope in the future to be able to join them and aid more in their good works.

A Message from Pastor Evan – July 25, 2024

Rev Evan Dodge

We are halfway through a sermon series on Joseph, focusing on his life as a person of integrity and forgiveness (Genesis 37-45). His life is an example of God’s timing, which is always right and perfect.

This Sunday, we get a glimpse of his heart of forgiveness, as he meets his brothers once again. We see glimpses of grace in the way Joseph treats his brothers and his desire for their well being, not for revenge on them. In doing so, he models the sort of grace God has for all his people.

Join us on Sundays at 10 am.

Dear St Paul’s family:

I pray that you are being encouraged as we journey through the life of Joseph. We saw last Sunday that Joseph faced 3 temptations – the temptation for power, the temptation for physical pleasure, and the temptation to despair. While the first two temptations are explicit in Joseph’s encounter with Potipher’s wife, the third hangs behind the scene, yet it is there. The temptation to despair strikes us when we have done everything right and life still goes sideways. We can succumb to despair, or we can trust that, just like in Joseph’s life, God is quietly working for our care and good to accomplish his grand purpose in our lives. Let’s hold on to faith!

See you Sunday as we continue our journey through Joseph in the book of Genesis.

A Message from Pastor Evan – July 11, 2024

Rev Evan Dodge

Dear St Paul’s,

This past Sunday we began our series on the life of Joseph. We see that he began in a place of immaturity, not able to properly steward and nurture the gift God had given him. We looked at the dysfunctional family dynamics in which she was raised. Joseph teaches us that often difficult life circumstances and our families of origin can be opportunities for God to hone us spiritually and allow us to move into the thing He has for us.

This Sunday will look at Joseph in Egypt, and how he dealt with temptation with integrity.

Join us Sunday at 10 AM!

A Message from Pastor Evan – July 5, 2024

Rev Evan Dodge

Dear St. Paul’s family,

This week we begin our study, looking at the life of Joseph in the book of Genesis. This six week sermon series will focus on two main themes, key ingredients for living the Christian life: forgiveness and integrity. As we examine these two key tenets, we will look at family dynamics, trials and tribulations, and God‘s faithfulness amidst human brokenness. As I’ve encouraged you before, please read the entirety of Genesis 37 through 50, as this will help you be prepared as we move through this sermon series.

Looking forward to it! – Pastor Evan

A Message from Melissa Jensen (Director of Family Ministries) – June 27, 2024

Dear St Paul’s family:

First, let us all pray that Pastor Evan and his family can a have a happy and safe vacation.

Second, please pray for me as I prepare to lead our church service this Sunday.

Now, let me ask you a question? Do you have all that you need?
If your answer is no, then what is it you are missing?
If your answer is yes, the follow up question is, can you give to others who are in need and feel they are lacking?

This Sunday I will be giving a message based on Christ knowing our needs, and how through faith in Him, not only will we be given what we need, but we will be better abled to help others who are in need.

With Christ we can have an overabundance of grace, that we can share, and help to give to all, and help to meet the needs of others as well as ourselves.

Again, I ask you to please pray for me as I prepare for Sunday Services.

Thank you
In Christ,
Melissa Jensen
Director of Family Ministries.
